@HeavenlyKing
Your views are as skewed as the views of some developers. The used game market isn't a hindrance it is a godsend. It creates a more dynamic market which not only promotes reinvestment, but allows for a larger market place. Let us be clear on this gaming isn't a inexpensive pass time. The majority of consumers cannot afford to spend more then four hundred dollars a year buying a new game every two months.
Without the bottom the top will suffer. Buying used games makes buying new games more affordable. The sale of used games puts more cash back into the channel for the purchase of new games. If I buy a used game I am still contributing to the development cycle, because someone sold that game to me, and that someone got new money to spend on new games.
Gaming isn't inexpensive, and the used market makes it more affordable for more people to game. Without that the market would be noticeably smaller then it is today, and the sales would suffer, because there would be less available cash. Personally I live within a budget, and try diligently to keep my game spending under three hundred dollars a year. Since I would like to play a new game every one to two months. I have to buy used games to give me bulk, and no four games a year isn't enough to meet my needs.

Sorry out of time have to head out in a minute. Quick answer educated speculation. Most signs point to this game having to register, but no mention of a mandatory download from the original post.
