No it didn't chart that's why I knew it was overestimated in the Japan Preview.

I guess you can look at it in percentage but you can also look at it like I was 12k off and the Japan Preview 25k off. I win either way! :D

I'm personally very happy at how Rhythm Heaven is selling in Japan. Epic Mickey is a little below my expectations though, however.

The scenarios are way to different, PS2 is a standard console and the 3DS is just days before a price cut. So it's impossible to make a comparisson.

Not a "true" comparisson, i must say. But 3DS was already selling less than the PS2 before the price cut announc. Well, the price cut was needed indeed, and it will do awesomely good next week!

Not surprising to see the 3ds numbers so low. I've seen a lot of stuff in stores showing what the new price will be and them taking pre-orders for the system at the new 15,000 yen price. (Though you could still purchase it at the 25,000 yen price if you wanted to, heh).

Definitely interested to see how the 3ds does after the price cut.

Oh and at first I thought this thread was for numbers from "January until July" as the MC/Famitsu threads are usually listed month/day (e.g. 8/1 - 8/7) and the MC numbers page linked to has it that way as well: 集計期間：2011年8月1日～8月7日
