never really liked RTS on a console except for pikmin so i dont really care for this

No surprise to me if it comes to consoles, blizzard joined with Activision and we all know how Activision would love to port this game to a console, blizzard now has the teams to make the port in a very short time to the consoles.

If it happens, I hope Xbox will make it available for demo play.
Gotta play that first and see.
I would buy it for the console cause my computer is getting OLD.

Strategy on a console? PC owners will understand when I say its always gona be 2nd best. Seen Halo Wars? Looks cool but a staregy game? Saw it moving looks unbelievably slow. Strats are renowned for zooming the screen around in rapid motions. In fact halo wars was soooooo slow looking I was shocked. Is battle for middle earth 2 on the 360 like this or is it ok for a console strat? Thaks

An RTS made for PC on a console is just boring and slow. You may find it fun, but play the PC version as it's meant to be played, and you'll understand why the console version sucks.

It's understandable if you don't have a good PC to play games...but just save your money and don't bother with a console version. Hell don't buy Starcraft 2 and C&C3 for consoles, and you've just saved enough money to buy a graphics card that could play Starcraft 2 on the PC just fine.

So the supposed Xbox360 version comes out before the PC version? Interesting...

Vivendi (which owns Blizzard) merged with Activion. The same Vivendi is now the majority shareholder of the new Activion Blizzard company, and that same Vivendi gave independent management and development to Blizzard all these past years and did not mind that there was no Diablo 2, Warcraft 3 or WoW port.  Also, the same Vivendi  knew not to mess up the management of the most profitable third party developer and promised Blizzard that the merge with Activion won't change things.

By the way, Blizzard never ported their own games, it was always outsourced teams. Blizzard doesn't bother with ports.

And the most important part, a big reason of this merge was consolidation, to streghten both on console and PC sides. That is why Vivendi and Activion merged: Activision had a good hold on console department but no PC hold, while Vivendi was the opposite with terrible console-side strength but a powerful hold on PC market (Blizzard + Sierra)

It's funny, there are rumors that are plausible sounding......and then there's one like this.

Look at it like this, if Starcraft 2 was so close as to warrent release in June, they'd probably of announced a open/closed beta already like Blizzard always does. Also, Blizzard makes pc games, not console games(yes I've been around long enough to play lost vikings and blackthorn...) so it's extremely unlikely that even if they were releasing a console version(and if you check their official faq, they're not) they'd do it before the pc one.

Don't get me wrong, personally I'd love for this rumor to be valid, only because it'd mean that the PC version would likely come out shortly after, instead I doubt we'll see SC2 until 2009 at best.
