With the debt crisis everywhere, seems like most countries are spending more than they make, somebody has to be making money, right?
Where'd all that money go?

well as we all should know by now the U.S. during Clinton had a surplus. but when Bush got in office he spent the surplus on tax cuts and then when the problems started after 9/11 Bush started spending debt.
politic's politic's politic's Obama politic's and more politic's later we end up with more debt then we can shake a stick at!
so now mostly all countries are spending debt. where did you get this money thing from only afew like China and the fast rising Japan currencies are making money.

That's not actually true. They claimed to have a surplus, and public debt did go down, but intragovernmental holdings went up every single year as did the total national debt - because money that the government owes itself is still debt.
OT: I dunno, but since it was spent on treadmills for shrimp and measuring gay men's penises, I can't really complain since that's what I'd have done with it.

tax cut for the richs and invading the wrong middle east country...........
Apple. People can't afford to keep local businesses afloat or stay out of debt but they can certainly afford to buy a new iPad.
Really, there are a few countries (sadly only a few) that export more then they import so therefore make money. China is the biggest.
Hmm, pie.
Honestly China and Japan have alot of our money. But the world just spent more then it made , all the big global powers buying cheap stuff from the third world. Everyone owes everyone. Even Canada imported more then it exported last year meaning less money for us. In the end were all out of money. Some of us owe less then others but the majority of our countries have run dry!

So, if everybody is in debt, are we spending phantom money?
Shouldn't the world money add up to zero, after adding and subtracting are done?
