Hey, it's a good improvement indeed!

I'm actually quite surprised now that I just did the same tests on IE9. It actually scores quite considerably higher than both FF5 and FF7 for the overall score.

As for the complex graphics, if anybody could explain to me why FF7 is scoring so much lower (than both IE9, and its own predecessor, FF5), when it is using a new and faster technology, it would be greatly appreciated.

FF7 seems really nice and quick, but I think I will still stick with chrome for now

I am just getting used to the omnibox and I really like the way that chrome works, so the extra speed to load up pages on Firefox is not worth it when everything else is slower

Yep it's a pain, this day and age you would like to think that when they upgrade they do it in  cooperation with the main firms who make the popular  apps for their browser.

Browsing this page right now with Aurora. It works just fine and is much faster and still lighter, even though it's an Alpha.

Adblock Plus is compatible with Aurora.

Additionally, when I fired up Aurora, it literally started within a second. Granted, I'm running on a SSD which drastically speeds EVERYTHING up, but that's still way faster than regular Firefox loads for me. It quite literally was loaded in the time it took me to click the button and move the mouse cursor to the top of the screen.

The only reason i don't move to keep up is i like my niche plugins, and the developers aren't quite moving fast enough for that level of compatibility

still on 3.6 tried 5 never tried 4 but with 5 i hated the no status bar good thing there was a add on for it but i noticed it took very long to clear cache with 5 like close to a minute and read online that others had this issue so i went back to 3.6

might try 6 when the full version comes out, i dont like all these updates happening so frequent 4 just came out not to long ago
