Forums - PC - Somebody help me out with what I assume to be a driver problem

Here is the thing: I just got done building my computer, and my rassa-frassin' Windows will not recognize any USB ports - or any ports at all, really, including mic, headphone, eSATA - that aren't directly on the motherboard, which is to say directly on the back of my computer.

I would like to get the ports at the front of my computer working.

Here is the lowdown:

My mobo is an MSI P67A-G45.

My case is a CM690 II.

My OS is Windows 7 64-bit.

I know that everything is plugged into my mobo correctly and these ports are receiving power, at least the USB ports are: I can use my USB keyboard, plugged into the front ports, when dicking around in my BIOS. It's only Windows that is giving me grief here.

I instaleld the first three drivers from this page: http://www.msi.com/product/mb/P67A-G45--B3-.html#/?div=Driver&os=Win7%2064

Somebody give me a hand, here. I've installed some drivers, clicked on the thing, loaded the guy, but nothing.

Around the Network

I was gonna say cables not plugged but you can use them in the bios so.... dunno... Though I vaguely recall having to tick a bios option in order to activate the front ports on my comp (different everything though).

OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO

I had the same case and the same OS, but a different motherboard (Asus). I do recall that you may have had to tic something in the BIOS but that's possibly just an implanted memory from heph. Does your keyboard work after the PC actually loads?
