Forums - Gaming - Catherine Is ATLUS' FASTEST SELLING GAME EVAR

"Many thought that the game wouldn’t sell well in the U.S. Some even believed that the game would never be localized for the western market, but Atlus’s strange love triangle/sheep dream, Catherine, has quickly become the company’s fastest selling title to date.

"Catherine has exceeded our highest expectations," Tim Pivnicny, Atlus VP of sales and marketing told IGN. "It is fitting, then, that Catherine can boast the largest launch in the 20-year history of Atlus, and continues to see strong sales at retail."

We’re happy to hear that a quirky, somewhat niche, title is getting it’s due. GI’s own Phil Kollar gave the game a 7, so it’s probably not for everyone. But what do you all think about the game? Are you happy with your purchase?"

Black Women Are The Most Beautiful Women On The Planet.

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

Very nice I wont get it soon but eventually.

This is pretty good, although I'm not a fan of the game or franchise (is it a franchise?). Always good news to see low-key games being successful for the lesser-known developers.

I got my Deluxe Edition, happy to help you Atlus!

Former something....

Nice. I haven't even purchased my copy yet either.

Good it's a fun game.
I love the atmosphere and take my time talking to everyone before moving on to the next hectic puzzle stage. Those are a lot easier after you play some of the rapunzel levels. There are some real brain teasers in there but since you have unlimited time you can get used to the movement controls without being pressed.
What were they thinking, every game I know uses x to jump or climb up. This one, push/pull or let go of ledge and fall to your doom. There is logic between the reversal of left and right when going behind things but that too takes a while to get used to.
The story is great so far, on to day 5.

Purchased the deluxe and loving every minute of it!

Picking up my pre-order copy on pay day friday

I'll probably buy used then return eventually.
