First off the Vita costs like 250-300$ so anyone wanting to play a PS3 game and experiance something similiar to WiiU will have to spend like 600$ to do so. Also that being said many won't buy a Vita and PS3 so how large will the install base be? Big enough for developers to actually take advantage of the feature? Probably not. In the end the WiiU controller will come with the WiiU and even if Sony managed to get an install base of like 5-million people owning Vita's and PS3's the WiiU will dwarf PS3 in power. Customers just won't get the same quality or bang for their buck buying a PS3 and Vita as they would simply buying a WiiU. However I find it pretty awsome that yet again before the device is even out Sony is already trying to copy it! |
How do you happen to know the bolded statments? As for your last sentence, you do know PSP and PS3 had this feutre for almost 4 years now?

Not like the similar feature is on PSP and it has been so for quite a while now, but then agian, not like you can convince nintendo fan that Nintendo isnt a God that created evrything in gaming

yeah the wii u which is estimated to be only 50% more powerful with no onboard processing in the controller will drawf the ps3 and vita which itself has onboard processing memory etc that is considerd to be comparable to ps3 for its proportions... yeah
and nintendo isn't copying

but sony who had streaming to psp for years via remote play somehow is

you hit the nail on the head right there my friend... the sad thing is many of the things they give nintendo credit for were actually lifted from the efforts of other companies

There are still plenty of third party titles that enable motion controls on the PS3 but people did NOT buy a PS3 for motion controlls and that's why both the motion controls in the sixaxis and the controller ability of the Vita are extra's. An extra is never a bad thing to have.

This might be actually better news to Nintendo than to Sony.

Are you thinking about third parties? That enlarging, even a little, the audience of gamers that have some sort of tablet control, either using Wii U tablet or PSP or PSV, will make more likely that third party multiplats make use of Wii U tablet features? Yep, the benefit for Sony is to match Nintendo's HW offer, so not being left behind in any way from the pure tech point of view, the benefit for Nintendo is that doing so Sony will indirectly bring it more support from third parties.
i'm more hoping that all PS3 games get patch in future to use all VITA feature as a controller to let us have another perhaps a better choice to play those games if we have a PSVITA... ^^
