Forums - Nintendo - Anyone still looking forward to Resident Evil Revelations?

Personally, I'd say yes, because even with Capcom cancelling MEGAMAN LEGENDS 3 and making a bizarre choice on the gamesave files for RE MERCENARIES, the overall game sounds just very promising.  I don't really believe it'll be cancelled just because MML3 was.

Ive knocked CAPCOM off my list all together intill they make up for there terrible treatment of Megaman fans

I'm staying out of this "boycott Capcom" business. If I see a game from them that interests me, I'll buy it, and if not, I won't. It's as simple as that. I mean, I don't agree with their policies, but I don't like any other companies' policies anymore than anyone else. However, if they make a game that catches my interest, then of course I'd want to support the game in question.

If Resident Evil Revelations is indeed a great game, then hopefully it should at least make up for some damage. Who knows, maybe someday we'll get another Monster Hunter.

Definitely looking forward to it, in fact it is the game I am most looking forward to on my 3DS.

Capcom explained their "logic" behind the 1 save slot in Mercenaries, so, especially given their explanation, no way they can do it in this game.

As to Megaman 3, maybe I am off the loop (I have been away for 3 weeks), but as I understood it it was going to be made because Inafune pushed for it strongly, but then he left... And so when push came to shove it was canceled. Revelations is in a totally different ball park imo.

Currently Playing: Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked, Professor Layton and the Curious Village

Anticipating: Xenoblade, The Last Story, Mario Kart 7, Rayman Origins, Zelda SS, Crush3D, Tales of the Abyss 3DS, MGS:Snake Eater 3DS, RE:Revelations, Time Travellers, Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney, Luigi's Mansion 2, MH TriG, DQ Monsters, Heroes of Ruin

Day one purchase, for me.

Looks really good, I am quite hyped for it. I'm not sure whether I will get it day 1, but I will without a doubt get it.

I am hoping that the development of Mercenaries was just a quick cash grab for Capcom and that they are actually trying to create a solid game with Revelations instead of release a bare bones product that Mercenaries turn out to be.

But then again, this is Capcom.

first day for me unless it gets crap reviews of course
