My local Tesco seem obsessed with promoting this thing. Big banners at the front of the shop and everything, anyway a game centric phone was never going to be massive, or even a moderate hit ...

Sounds like the 3DS all over again. Only not as bad. Since this is a phone first and a gaming device second. Also running the Android operating system, having access to any and all games on the Android Market as well as classic PSX games, not a bad phone by any stretch of the imagination. Just not as good as advertised. You can't go wrong with Android, but you can do better than this particular piece of hardware. Is you are in need of an amazing portable gaming experience while being able to access your favorite PSX and PS2 classics, as well as modern day games. Wait a few more months for the Vita. It will cost you a whole lot less in the long run.

From $600 to $500. Awesome price. It only costs 2 PSVitas.

Errrr

1) it's a phone, don't their price degrade regularly? (it's been out about 6 months)

2) THERE ARE NO PSX GAMES (i got syphon filter with it and they let me download only MediEvil, KulaWorld, Syphon filter 3 and Wipeout... no other choice)

3) The screen is bad quality, scratches easily and has finger marks in 2 secs.

However... the battery initially lasted only a day (music alone drained it like crazy)... now... I can leave it on for 2 days no problem, listening to music from and to work, browsing emails, reading manga at work....

Overall, I bought it to change from my Iphone (had the hardest time synching with my PC)... I'm glad I did, the thing works gread... it's only the screen that really sux.

I blame the lack of games. I saw the catalog and they all sucked. If 1st party devs worked on it and got an exclusive AAA game i am sure it would have sold better.
