Someone was able to have an interview with one of the MW3 developers recently. He confirmed/announced alot of things including Quick scoping.  :)

Quickscoping has been in all cods. No surprise, they've even made many patches to blackops and its just the same as the others now. Truly something which should be removed from the game.

Quickscoping is retarded. Especially now that people make modded controllers for that as well that do all the timing work for you... Once you learn the timing it is just the cheapest most lame abuse of the game's auto-aim I have ever seen. I use real weapons until some quickscopers start to annoy me, then I beat them at their own game, or with my amazing skills as a *GASP* hard scoper.

Ah yes... the fuckin retarded Quickscoping returns to MW3... How am I not suprised...

I hate quickscoping (as it was in MW2 with SoH Pro), but he could just mean a return to CoD4 type sniping which I'm perfectly fine with.

I'm most interested in how they change the melee system, and also the perks. You can't underestimate the importance of perk setup. Also more small maps, and just generally better maps (like in CoD4 and WaW) would be nice.

I think quickscoping was too easy in MW2 but too hard in black ops. I think it would be nice to see if MW3 can find a happy medium, where it takes a little skill to pull it off but the snipers aren't so nerfed you can't kill anything with them.

A cheat thats been confirmed to be included only means that they have made it now easier to do.
