Bullshit for current owners, but for me.....thank GOD, now if they un cancel megaman legends 3....oh and make majoras mask 3d would be nice.

It's cool that you don't see a problem, but you ca see that current owners may be ticked off a bit, imagine if you bought a 3ds yesturday only to hear this.

I bought my JP 3Ds just two weeks ago... I am ok because those free games are all great, but I paid almost $400 for it... Lol Ill be getting 40 free games... 

GBA is announced to not be comming yeah ^^ (they don't plan on releasing these games to others).

They didn't drop the price enough.

Until good games are released, why should it be priced higher than the DS?

Until Nintendo have proven that they can supercede DS games why should I trust them?

Nintendo are going up against the biggest handheld ever and they think that just because they made the original, they don't have to compete with it. The 'lite', 'i' and 'xl' all added value for current and 'on the fence' consumers. 3DS actively puts people off.

After the abomination that was New Super Mii-U Bros at e3, Nintendo could have regained my trust and released a new portable 2d Mario game that could easily make (N)SMB2.5DS look like the gimped, unoriginal, handheld version that it is. Instead they want to prove that they can remake OoT and Starfox and take their sweet time doing so.

Hope isn't lost, we can clearly see that Nintendo have come to their senses now that they've named 'Mario Kart 7' and 'Super Mario 3D Land'.

As a current owner of the 3DS, it's not a big problem for me. In the end, we customer that have the advantage of this price drop.

All I hope is just they don't do IP blocking and/or need Nintendo Club account for this incentive program. Cause if they do these, I am screwed. No Nintendo club in my country and all Nintendo Video thing and Netflix can't run in my 3DS.....

And hopefully, with this price cut 3DS can build a momentum and many of canceled project will be un-cancelled becuase the brighter prospect this will bring for 3DS..... especially Megaman Legend 3....

3 is partially a problem, but not really. Having small price cuts frequently tells consumers that they may as well wait a bit longer. Having a big price cut will convince people to buy now, and the 3DS can get a huge lead on Vita

4 can be solved by dropping the dsi price
