Miyamoto is largely overestimated, he's not original, he's just a skillful craftsman that took a banal, plain Italian plumber and a gorilla and improved them. Heck, he wasn't even able to improve trite slut princesses, as Stephanie of Monaco and Sarah Ferguson, just to cite two, are far easier to hump than Peach and Zelda.
So I must vote for Yu Suzuki!

Miyamoto is definitely a giant of the industry but I am bias towards Yu-san for making some of my all time favourite games.
