With news like this developers will only be more reluctant to produce new innovative mediocre games........
and you guys wonder we get yearly rehashes

FIXED! If an IP is good, it will sell. Games like Borderlands, Heavy Rain, LA Noire, Batman Arkham Asylum, are all proof.

You forgot demons souls that one is proof that a game with a low budget and no advertising can sell if it's unique and good enough

Very true, the title sold on quality alone. No advertising whatsoever. If the game is good, it will sell.

Don't blame gamers for not buying such an overrated game. It really wasn't all it was cracked up to be.

What exactly was innovative about Bulletstorm?  The game had a half-baked kill engine that was cumbersome to do any killing, and just didn't work right.  Wrap it up into very immature characters and script, and you have a forgettable title.

How about innovation in places that matter, rather than pushing 500 said ways to die, with score, as the big innovation and a TON of dick language?

I liked the game. Charging the full $60 and forcing you to use Live annoyed the hell out of me. Still a pretty fun game

well according to selnor this was the best game ever so i'll wait and see, i think selnor knows a little better then this so called Epic executive ;)

Console partisans say the DARNDEST things!

Thats a shame, it was a fun game.

It is sad that a new ip couldn't make the money. But releasing the same day as killzone was just retarded.

Conclusive proof hard-core games can't sell on the HD consoles ...

It would have sold better on the Wii and made a profit.

I think it's pretty clear that only Sony and Microsoft games sell on Sony and Microsoft consoles.

Tag - "No trolling on my watch!"

This game was basically a $60 Gears 3 beta key, nothing more. Once Epic started allowing Gears 3 beta access via a simple pre-order of the game at select stores, the sales of the game dropped off pretty much overnight.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
