It's a bit of a Rage news double this, as Bethesda has revealed the fourth developer diary in a series of six and the second issue of the Rage comic book hits all good comic book stores everywhere. In the developer diary, you'll get a closer look at the game's expansive wasteland, which is inhabited by all manner of weird and wonderful characters.
Forging releationships with these various personalities will be key to Rage's story, as you make your way through the inhospitable wasteland fighting mutants and bandits, or participating in vehicle combat or the Mutant Bash gameshow, which is exactly what it sounds like.
This dev diary also reveals that Rage will have co-op missions to play through with a compadre and multiplayer vehicular combat to indulge in too, thanks to feedback from players. Rage is scheduled to release on October 7th, 2011 in North America and October 10th, 2011 in Europe.
