1.7 millions Xbox360 shipped in 4th quarter.

so 55.3M Xbox360 shipped so far this gen.

ehh 4th quarter? that's very bad if you mean that's all they shipped during the holidays, althought I know you made a typo and mean 2nd quarter.

we're talking earnings here.

April -June is Microsoft fiscal 4th quarter...

ahh so they run it through 2 years, so 1st quarter will be July -September then.

Yeap.

Microsoft Fiscal Year: July to June

Nintendo / Sony: April to March

Just looking to shipped numbers makes me thinks maybe NPD was wrong in their reports.

VGC was almost perfect tracking this time.

Er there is a 200k gap between us and NPD, we have 700k on shelves so it could be either way. Not saying NPD is right or wrong and same for VGC, but how you arrive at that from these shipment numbers I don't know.

So 0.3 million shipped just in June...

55.3m shipped
54.6m sold (VGC)

0.7m on shelves

People still thinks 360 was undertracked here? I guess this time we won't see adjustments for the 360.

yes or VGC start to ignore NPD

If I remeber VGC already ignore NPD.

so what's that if they already ignore NPD

Or NPD could be right and VGChartz could be off in EMEA.

There's no way to know until data comes....

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

correct.

Most companies have their fiscal 4th quarter in Jan-March.( Nintendo, Sony,...)

Microsft is kind of an exception as they have it in April-June.

Now I know, I sometimes don't pay attention but now I do, I know now. Thanks

You think is there less than 700k on shelves? I already think this number low for a console sold across 38 countries.

So or NPD is wrong or EMEAA numbers is ever worst for 360 (200k up in US / 200k down in EMEAA).

You right... I realized maybe EMEAA is off (or NPD is wrong).

But WW VGC is right .

Stop trying to be so desperate for 360 to be overtracked or w/e you have no idea if 700k is enough right now, it fluctuates from 500k to 1 mill or even more either way sometimes.

lol you really don't know how big is NPD group
