Also, you really didn't help your cause by calling games like Soul Calibur Legends and Castlevania: Judgment "significant efforts". I have not twisted your words, everybody can go back to the beginning of this thread and check for themselves.

all i said was that they were good i never compared them to ps2s games becauese the whole question didn't make much sense in the first place

...but yes i did call  sc legends and castlevania significant efforts.... personally i wouldn't say they were bad games sorry for having a different opinion to you

The post you replied to could easily be identified as a challenge to name eight third party Wii games that can compete with the best ones the PS2 had to offer. Your reply started off with the word "fine" which implies that you knew what you were responding to.

Games like Assassin's Creed that the Wii U can most definitely run. I don't see them coming to Nintendo's HD console, I already said that in the original post.

I doubt that they are proud of Just Dance. Sure, they are happy that its sales allow them to make more HD games, but proud? No, I don't think so.

Noone anywhere said that the Wii U Assassin will be exclusive.

In fact you can be 99% sure it will be multi platform due to costs of development.

If the reason is HD then devs are dumb like another thread speculated.

More important factors would be potential client base, potential sales, ease of development and manufacturer support.

not necessarily think about it this way even though it takes more money to make an HD game you have to consider that combined ( most multiplats go to both ) the HD user base is bigger than the wii's, then devs have the ability to further charge people through stuff like dlc that can't be done on the wii

didn't say that but nintendo didn't provide them with the adequate tools to make their games as they wanted so what were they supposed to do? make simpler games to run on wii and make the more complex games for the consoles that can run them that way you get games on all the platforms.... regardless of whether people want to accept it or not games like skyrim or arhkam city or battlefield 3 etc would not run on the wii from the standpoint of power and also because the control itself is lacking for certain types of games therefore different games are made to run on the wii 

They dont need any thing more than what nintendo used to make twilight princess or super mario galaxy for the wii. Im positive with a dedicated enough team a game similar to arkham city could be made. Sure the graphics wouldnt be up to par but theres more needed than that to make a good game( never said you said that though). Nobody asked for skyrim to run on Wii but asking for a game just as good is possible but isnt getting done by anyone besides nintendo for the wii. Though monster hunter tri is incredible and id put that against any third party developed game for 360/ps3.


but third parties have tried in a few cases to get games like that on the wii, games like no more heroes and muramasa were great but i guess the point is they were not as consistant as the support the HDs get but that might also have to do with how games like these end up selling

i doubt it i think its probaly being built from the ground up for wii u but i could be wrong, we'll have to wait and see

Ubisoft is not bad company. They are not the best company, and we all know that. But with Killer Freaks From Outer Space, that can be a great start for the Wii-U.
