If the reason is HD then devs are dumb like another thread speculated.

More important factors would be potential client base, potential sales, ease of development and manufacturer support.

not necessarily think about it this way even though it takes more money to make an HD game you have to consider that combined ( most multiplats go to both ) the HD user base is bigger than the wii's, then devs have the ability to further charge people through stuff like dlc that can't be done on the wii
