Halo 3. Owned it for a week and sold it.

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials

The biggest game ever getting a small delay was a HUGE disappointment for me. Yes, I'm talking about Smash Bros. Brawl.

There were a few this year:

1) Lair. Enough Said

2) SSBB being delayed (that and mario kart are the only games I bought a Wii for in the beginning, I was sceptical about SMG, but boy was I wrong).

3) Heavenly Sword, pegged as God of War in HD, didn't even come close in any regard (gameplay is derivative and un-unique, plot is un-interesting to the point of being pointless, enemy AI similar to that found in Dynasty Warriors, only saving grace were graphics).

4) Halo 3. Yep, it was a disappointment for me, BUT only because my expectations were so high that it could never have reached them (which was not helped by the hype).

Delay of SSBB, lack of console sonic games.

Bet with OriGin: Within 1 year Super Smash Bros. Brawl will be ahead of Mario Kart Wii (when aligning the one whole year from each region). 2 week ban from Vgchartz for the loser. Edit: Darn! Looks like OriGin will win.

it's his opinion and it can't be wrong.

Common misconception. Opinions can be wrong. I can easily say it is my opinion that 2 + 2 = 7 but I wouldn't be right.

No, opinions cannot be wrong. They are subjective.

If some one like something that no one else likes, that person is not wrong.

2 + 2 = 7 is a assertion.

A very wrong  on by the way.

*facepalm*

I guess the smiley with the tongue sticking out wasn't obvious enough......

My biggest disappointment is with Delaystation 3/crappy ports from EA. (I'm not trolling, i only own a PS3)

Reasons:

1. Haze (delayed)
2. Little Big Planet (delayed)
3. Home (delayed)
4. Orange Box (Crappy EA port)
5. Theres probably more I'm forgetting

With all that said, i still think there was great games such as R&C, Uncharted, UT3, etc.

Mine would be Halo3, i love the halo world and read the 4 books too. The SP was so short and boring with a very poor story. The other thing that pissed me off was the unfinished bugy CoD4 online, really pisses me off along with the broken sniper rifles.

Lair and Assassin's Creed.

We don't provide the 'easy to program for' console that they [developers] want, because 'easy to program for' means that anybody will be able to take advantage of pretty much what the hardware can do, so the question is what do you do for the rest of the nine and half years? It's a learning process. - SCEI president Kaz Hirai

It's a virus where you buy it and you play it with your friends and they're like, "Oh my God that's so cool, I'm gonna go buy it." So you stop playing it after two months, but they buy it and they stop playing it after two months but they've showed it to someone else who then go out and buy it and so on. Everyone I know bought one and nobody turns it on. - Epic Games president Mike Capps

We have a real culture of thrift. The goal that I had in bringing a lot of the packaged goods folks into Activision about 10 years ago was to take all the fun out of making video games. - Activision CEO Bobby Kotick
