It's not that I hated the previous games in the series, they're fine for what they are, but my curiosity about what's next for the franchise was frankly dwarfed by my desire to pass work off onto other people. I didn't have any luck, and what a lucky break that was for me, because Resistance 3 -- at least for the three hours I spent with it -- is spectacular.

I know, I'm still not sure I believe it myself."

and says things like
"Insomniac is making the Resistance game that justifies the existence of Resistance games."

yeah and I've read through several more as well and they are all praising the game :D Ars Technica had a preview up very recently too

Regardless of the resolution drop, the game looks far better than the previous Resistance games.

The lighting in particular looks really good.

you certainly took your time... btw the post you replied with was posted the 30th of july weeks after your original post so therefore i can only assume that this "aside from a random post in some forum what evidence do you have to claim that?" was correct at the time all you had to validate your claim was a random post from a forum poster
