just skimmed through it..don't want it to spoil too much

but have said this before and I will say it again, the atmosphere in this game looks FANTASTIC! the devs really nailed it there

and check out this preview from Joystiq

It starts off like this
"I'm just a little embarrassed to admit that my first thought upon seeing the preview disc for Resistance 3 show up on my doorstep was this: "Who can I con into playing this for me?"

It's not that I hated the previous games in the series, they're fine for what they are, but my curiosity about what's next for the franchise was frankly dwarfed by my desire to pass work off onto other people. I didn't have any luck, and what a lucky break that was for me, because Resistance 3 -- at least for the three hours I spent with it -- is spectacular.

I know, I'm still not sure I believe it myself."

I really dont understand what people see in this series. It is bland and generic as hell. I am sorry but insomniac are a shadow of what they used to be. They should just go multiplatform and take resistance with them.

And yes i know the resistance IP is owned by sony

watched battle: LA last night. in part of the movie there is a big billboard with Resistance 3 on it. it would be hard to miss. I personally thought that was a really good way to draw attention to this game. still they need more than that and yeah probably only reach 2m at most.
