Well, the PS3's game line-up has 2 risks in 2008 ... Delays and too high of expectations.

Games like Haze, Liggel Big Planet, Killzone 2, and LA Noire could turn out to be lower quality or sell worse than expected, while games like Metal Gear Solid 4, Gran Turismo 5, Final Fantasy XIII and Grand Theft Auto could see continued delays.


and if those are the cases then that cant be going according to sony's plan

delayed or not their lineup is still better than the 360's and wii you're forgetting all of the 3rd party games too which most are shared with the 360 and unnannounced games for this year.. Sony Pr has hinted at some big announcements coming our way...

At this time last year there were a lot of people proclaiming that the PS3 had a better line-up for 2007 than the XBox 360 or Wii ...

Well it did if most of those games had gotten a 90+, besides the games coming next year are proven IP's.

With the bad year Sony had in 2007, all they're talking about is what they have in 2008. They desperately trying to convince people 2008 is their year. We haven't even heard things from Microsoft and Nintendo yet so I wouldn't start prejudging yet, especially when we are still in 2007. At least I am for 10 more hours.

im not saying that the other 2 consoles lineups are bad im just saying sony has alot instore for this year and probably alot at stake ...

Those 90+ games you say didn't convince much people to buy PS3s, now did they?

I'm not exactly sure I understand what you're saying ...

People were claiming the PS3's line-up in 2007 was so amazing because of titles which they assumed would be released (Metal Gear Solid 4, Final Fantasy XIII, Gran Turismo 5, and Grand Theft Auto 4), games that people assumed would be announced, and unproven ips that were assumed to be amazing quality and/or amazing sellers (Lair, Heavenly Sword, and Uncharted). People are doing the exact same thing today ...

The Wii and XBox 360's line-ups for 2008 are not as well known because they saw far less titles delayed into 2008, and they have been focused on pushing games that were actually released in 2007.

sony hast really said anything on 08 either .... theyve only commented on a couple of games that we didnt know about for 08 like infamous other than that they havent said a whole lot on 08.. except for the games we already knew were coming like mgs4 killzone 2 etc.... im pretty sure all those games they showed a couple of years ago at E3 are still coming out... like eight days.. wardevil getaway 3 etc....
