Particularly, Microsoft has looked at ways to improve the right analog stick input and you’ll hear more about those efforts soon.
I found this the most interesting part of the article. Supposedly this has been rumored for ages as MS is looking at some sort of improved controller for FPS games.
Outside of that I would assume the motion sensing is for next gen. I would hope that they wouldn't be stupid enough to launch such an add-on half way through a console cycle.
