Publishers are looking for ways to make even more money, from everything, so why shouldn't I be looking for ways to save money? It's not like they cared for me either so why should I care for them?

because you like games and gaming and want them to develop more games you like maybe? well, maybe you don't

Well, they act like they respect me and I act like I respect them. It's as simple as that. But if they treat me like shit... Well, they shouldn't really expect anything better in return.

This sucks if you are happy about $ony taking our consumers right to buy games pre-owned then I just don't know what to say that will get through your deluded heads..

Well if I can buy the game used for $40 and pay $10 for online pass and buying the game new is $60 I've still saved $10.

It is a bit stink if you have 2 PS3's at home, because you'll only be able to play online on one machine unless you pay extra.

The pass should be tagged to the PSN account as well as the machine: on the machine any PS user/PSN account can play online, for one PSN user they can use the game on any machine as long as they log in to their account.

Hopefully they can tag it to activated PS3's that way the PSN pass can be used across up to 5 PS3's just like all DLC.

You still have the right to buy a used game, and all the non-online gaming works 100%. You can play the SP game and local coop / MP to your heart's content ine without having to pay 1c extra. So don't be so misleadingly melodramatic. I am pro-used game sales. I do it (sell and buy), but I have no concerns with the concept of getting used game buyers to pay their fair share for the cost of having online gameplay. There may be unfairness in the implementation, but consumer rejection of the really grossly unfair mechanisms will cause further refinement for how it's done.

Honestly looking back at my post I was being a tad melodramatic I just don't like the direction that sony is going with this...
