Forums - Gaming - the verdict is in Sony E3 pressconfrence:Somber, apologetic, and straight to the games.

It seems as if content won out this E3 for me and Sony had it in droves. while the forums say Sony won im just not sure they did that much better then MS but alot was there and i for one enjoyed it.

Sony really showed there commitment to the consumer as the hacks continue Sega, EVE online, and many others have suffered at the hands of these web attackers it shows no industry is safe.

Jack Trent opening with an ur welcome to the press(for the bad press was funny), a thanks to third party pub's, thanks to retailers, and an apology to consumers was to me comfording and ginuwine.

anouncing cinema now as free to watch TV is for me (when i get piss'd off with games), and playable across 165 gaming Stations (PSVita?) takes sony one step closer to multimedia.

Uncharted

no reall need to talk about the epicness Uncharted brings in he way it looks and feels. as the Demo starts on a boat you notice how dier the situation looks(and as with all uncharted games)fills. the scenery looked perfect. As the action startsyou notice how much more brutal the takedowns are. as we hit the dier part a car explosion triggers a flood causing the ship to start sinking . As more is shown Drakes mission may be bigger then even he knows.

Resistance

It seems as if Insomniac is about perfect and seem to have hit there stride when making games in the FPS genre. i really got the fill of hopelessness while veiwing the demo and the scenery is just epic in scale and amazing. the game looks like it plays perfect and i can't wait to play Resistance online. the bundle is a nice touch.

TEAM ICO

Shadow of the Colossus was a joy to play on the PS2 and now this epic gem makes its way to PS3 along with ICO (which i haddn't played) and God of War origins make a great addition to the PS3's game library.

8.8m moves sold since its launch isn't bad for a product that gets little advertisement.

As the move coverage continues: 2K and Kobe Bryant show off NBA12. the moves functinality wrks great. looks like seemless fun and easy to play. this demonstration actualy had me interrested in sports games?

Midevil moves looks nice, but not impressive. i really can't see myself getting into this game.

Infamous looks amazing. creating missionslooks so easy and simplistic. can't wait to get this game.

Starhawk

Starhawk definately has me interested and takes an interesting approach to gameplay.  in saying that theres alot of people i'd love to drop a building on.

Sly 4 theives intime looks great but im not sure its my thing.

Dust 514 looks to awsume. love the idea, but i wouldn't play it on move.

BioShock infinite is going to be awsume and i may try to play it on the move.

PSVita gets its first exclusive from Irrational games.

Saints Row has never had my attention until now. looks nice. the addition of the exclusive modes doesn't hurt either but still not a automatic buy for me.

Star Trek only for the trekkies

i've been waiting for a good Star Trek game, and this could be it. Startrek looks great . heres hoping its move integration work perfectly.

the move couldn't get anymore support if it tried.

EA SSX looks gorgious and brings more move intergration and exclusive content to the PS3.

Need for speed the run looks good. love the direction there taking this game. adding a story and action elements makes the run more than just a racing game. hope this idea works well for EA.

i love the idea of PS suite.

Sony looks to continue the life of the PSP which is good for those who are not ready to upgrade to Vitas high price. another product Sony takes a loss on?

Uncharted looks great on Vita and its fetures are well integrated into the game leaving you more options for gameplay, but shouldn't Sony bend be making a new IP for PS Vita.

Ruin looks ok for a top down game(which makes me not interested), but its seemless transition from Vita to PS3 was impressive.

LBP,MNR, and Vitas features are another match made in heaven.

St. fighter cross tekken featureing Colefrom from infamous is another win for Vita. i'll keep me eyes on this one.

PSVitas high price comes with the cost of technology. at $249.99 for the wifi only model and 299.99 for the 3G wifi model.

while prcied evenly with the 3DS all 3 are out of my price rang as im not ready to buy another PS3 yet!

the verdict is now 1 yr old lol, but insted of having a winer this yr i'll just give the verdict

Sony E3 pressconfrence 2011. and the verdict is B plus

I liked SONY's conference, I preferred it over the other two, but it was still missing something.

It was missing that "wow" factor and perfect pacing that the Microsoft conference had. Everything flowed so smoothly and everything seemed to be broken up into sections such as hardcore, casual, XBL updates.

The SONY conference didn't have enough of this, they really need to work on the presentation. Another thing that annoyed me is they have the perfect line-up of exclusives and multiplatform games...but they didn't show any.

The conference lacked shock reveals as well, I feel so disappointed with all three conferences this year.

All SONY need is presentation like Microsoft's conference and more hardcore content (which they had, but didn't show) and their conference would have been a winner.

the conference had the biggest shock of all the E3 presentations this year..PSV price

overall consistent presentation..imho the best of the 3

Actually, that was a good enough shock for me, but not that much of a shock. I guess I have a lot more faith in SONY than you guys huh? xD
