Which one do you think makes better MP games? I can almost gurantee you everyone will say Microsoft because of "Halo" which is a great game but people tend to overlook things too much so take time and decide. Most of the Xbox live community is on Halo or Call of Duty but does Microsoft really have any games that have a good online mode? So I will make a list of good mp games made by both companies this gen.

Xbox 360:

Gears of War 2 (online was horrible until they fixed it a year later)

Fable 2

Fable 3

Forza  3

Gears of War

Incoming: Gears of War 3

 

PS3:

Killzone 3

Uncharted 2

Gran Turismo 5

Killzone 2

Resistance fall of man

Resisstance 2

Warhawk

Little Big Planet

Little Big Planet 2

Incoming:

Resistance 3

Twisted Metal (promises to be great!)

Uncharted 3 (I would buy the beta for $59.99, enough said)

As of now I'm going stick with Microsoft because I haven't seen anything as extraodinary Halo MP (other than Uncharted 3) Although the Killzone series does come really close nothing can mess with Halo MP as of now. But I think by the end of this year I will probably cahnge my mind. But what do you think so far. Who makes better online games Sony or MS!

Neither make amazing online games now, but twisted metal might change that.

Well as a PS3 only console gamer i really cant judge the 360's lineup since i have not played most of there games. But if you look at the list. Every game on the 360's side (except for Forza) is a shooter. So if you love shooters alot then the 360 would be better for you .

However if you prefer other genre's like Platformers, RPG's, and Action adventures, most would probably say PS3.

And like blkfish92 said. I am kind of a fanboy. (Hints my name) And i only like certain type's of games. So i will always be one-sided. :)

You also left out quite a few good online exclusive games for the PS3.

it's funny the list that the TC made for ps3 are all shooters for online.... Imo the best online is xboxlive, just my opinion, plus the 360 controller is the best for shooters, only games I play online so...

I would have to say SONY for having online only titles like warhawk, socom confrontation and MAG.

I must agree dedicated servers with psn is awesome! for games like warhawk etc... I heard Gears of war 3 is coming with dedicated servers... I  never really got into gears Online but with dedicated servers I'm really excited about Gears 3!

GT5 and Twisted metal are not shooters. And like i said on my last statement. The 360 exclusive lineup simply does not have varity outside of shooters (which is one of the main reasons why i dont own one anymore).

As for the controller. Yea its perfect for shooters but what about other genres like fighters and arcade style games. You cant just design an controller for one specific genre of game. Gota be more open minded.   :)
