Forums - Gaming - CNN Report: Keep your gaming systems off the internet? :P

LOL, I don't know if this is true because it's too weird, but they say the kid's Xbox 360 was hacked and used to make a call (WTF?) to send SWAT to their house... well... see the video for yourself to know the details xD

Let's see if I can embed this:

More likely is...he pissed someone off online and they hacked his Live account and got his address off of it and then placed the call. The report seems way to eager to take the kids word for it at that, he isnt telling somebody something thats for sure.

I was going to say something similar to that ...

Kids today aren't too bright when it comes to protecting their personal information, and I wouldn't be surprised if you did a google search for a lot of people's in-game usernames if it showed up as public information on their facebook profile; along with enough information to do a white-pages search and find their address.

Same story happened a month ago that Vgchartz reported but it happened to a guy in Oregon (in the USA). So i guess this punk copied that.

Anyone who's breaking the law is obvious a criminal.

Useful information. Thank you a lot.
