IGN, said it perfectly that the combat system is like a rythm game like ddr

quote: The combat is not intuitive. There is nothing telling you that this is DDR for assassins. You have to figure that out on your own (or, I suppose, read this review). Many will dislike the combat system, but I found it to be enjoyable.

i agree........shenmue WAS great.

@ Passenger57, the combat system basically involves you either hammering the attack button, or holding defend and pressing counter when they attack you, it is that simple, although in the later levels you might have to dodge some of their attacks.

Personally, the appeal of the game was in the exploration and free running, not the combat.

To each is own, but both games are good games, and rated high on some reviews and low on others.

Yes, thats true, but didn't you find it a little bit repetitive. After walkin around town I found myself pickin a fight just to spunk things up a bit.

@ Passenger, Uncharted had a low of 8 and Assassins (Ps3) had a low of 4, I think AC is more of a hit and miss game

Dang thats pretty low, one thing I can say about Uncharted is that it sure looks good. A friend of mine told me he likes it less than Assassin's Creed. I can't say that because I really didn't like AC that much, but just like GOW Uncharted is a rental for me. AC would have been but I guess I was a victim to the hype machine

@ Passenger, Uncharted is the length for a weekend rental, but I loved it so much I just bought it for my collection. plus there is quite a lot of treasure and other extras to find.

Yep, but I played it in one concentrated burst, and I was completely immersed, I don't know why. By the end I was just randomly assassinating people walking down the street. But to keep the repetivitity to a minimum I did as little as investigative missions as I could

@Munkeh111, maybe I'll give it another try.
