Hey, nice thread idea.

I was an Apprentice Chef for the last 3 years, I quit just recently for some time out to get my head straight, it's hard to fit gaming in because I've had a gf the whole time as well as the full time job, sometimes I get blasted for even coming onto this website let alone play games, trust me half the time I am posting here I'm being yelled at: "Get the fuck off that geek website"

I'd usually argue back: "But the new charts are up!"

So I get off and go to play a game and then it's : "Get off your games and spend time with me"

It's actually really really hard to fit in quality gaming with such a demanding job and girlfriend.

But recently I have had a lot of time to play games, I told myself that 08 is the year of music practice for me, so I vowed to myself to practice the Guitar and Keyboard more then I do anything else, I really need to write myself a proper time schedule.

Portables on the other hand I tend to find easier to find time for.

I'm in school to be an engineer for now. My problem solving skills can be put to use in strategic gaming situations - like being an engineer in tf2. :)

Are you a student?

Yes, I'm a first-year student at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology.

What are you pursuing?

I'm in UOIT's Game Development and Entrepreneurship Program :p  Hoping to get a job in the industry when I graduate, and make my own studio at some point.

Does it affect my gaming?

No--my time is basically homework and games

Not that that's a good thing...what are you talking about?  Of course I could get a girlfriend if I wanted to!

System of choice=Wii60 + DS though I own all of them and a decent computer.

I don't do anything and have no idea what i'm going to do with my life.
