I am in the Australian Military, But im sure it would be similar story for any other military.
I am a officer in the Navy, and one thing i can tell you is that you dont lie. They will find out, whether it is a few months later, or a year later.
And if you have been caught for lying, they may force you to go through the whole recruitment process again, just tell them the truth, and as long as you explain to them that you are no longer taking the drugs it should be fine.

you mean you got meds but without a doctor's note and without even buying them? don't mention it if they don't ask... if they do, say:
"I had recurrent headaches and my friend gave me some happyface pills for me to feel better... they were great I should get some more, oh, and that needle thing too."
