Forums - Microsoft - Tales of Vesperia console "CONFIRMED"....

...

Rejoice Xbox 360 owners! Tales of Vesperia has been somehow confirmed by Motoi Sakuraba (my favourite videogame music composer, and one of the 2 guys responsible for Tales music) to be for the Xbox 360. http://sakuraba.cocoebiz.com/discography/

Now now, I really, really wanted it to be on the Wii, but I'm going to look at the brighter side:

-The game WILL come to America, simply because sales in Japan will be too low to compensate. That's what more than makes up for it.
-Now, I'm forced to buy a Xbox 360. Not a bad thing by any means, since I want to play all the Xbox 360 JRPG exclusives and multiconsoles with PS3.

...

*Sigh*

Again, I'm not sad at all, just a little disappointed. The fact that it will COME to America because it's on the 360 makes me feel MUCH better. Now I'm starting to think it's a good idea!

I hate to say I told you so... oh wait, no I don't! I told you so!

I think the graphics were looking sub-par for the 360 (as I mentioned when this first came up), but it clearly wasn't a Wii game. I'm sure Microsoft bought this game from Namco, but I don't really care. I need a 360 anyway.

It's not guaranteed to come to America, Namco could very well be frightened by the 360 userbase and the performance of past JRPGs on 360 in the US. Nintendo published Symphonia, Microsoft would really have to be the one to push this game for a NA release. Europe is probably out of the question though. This is really just a ploy for Japan, NA/EU aren't that important in the grand scheme of things. I really hate how every game announced that I'm anticipating has become a victim of politics.

HAH, i knew it was a 360 game because the poster wasn't Soriku.

Maybe i'll check it out when it comes out, eh i'd probably try those gamecube or wii tales games first unless they are of the "costs more used than new" variety.

Next, SO4. You heard it here first!

With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B
