Yep the RTS doesn't suit me either, it's slower and too complex, I just wanna be able to use my BB codes like [quote][img] etc :(
Good to have you back, was missing this sites updates to the Japanese number this week.
Backround images in profile can't be put up for some reason, and I can't post news in the news section. Overall still good.

I don't mind the posting system, but hate how the "previous" messages (i.e. under the posting box) are unformatted - complex msgs become a messyrunoftexttogetherthatisunreadable...
I think people got fed up with the news - is there a popularity system that means the most popular news items appear on the main page? This causes them to be more popular again, and hence they never change.
I sort of think the news section is completely unnecessary. I'll rather just have the "forum", with all news items becoming threads. Otherwise you have to post a news item... and more than often create a thread as well.
Otherwise, change the news to show the most popular AND most recent stories (or just most recent, or most recently commented/digged on?)

My actual problem is that it won't let me post news, or so it seems.

It was broken a while back, but is now all fixed up (has been for at least a week).
I don't like the "double page" posting system though (create a topic/description, then get to post the news once that is done. Presumably to allow people to change the content for a post - but not the heading/title itself).

The site is still great, but I'll agree that the quote system can get a bit out of hand and the news doesn't update.
Aside from that, the only problem is the black and white flashing add on the front page. It stretches out the front page and makes half of it flash black and white. It's driving me crazy!

Anyone else use "AdBlock Plus" and Firefox? I opened this site once on a PC without it, and was shocked with the result. This site rocks without ads ;)
