Personally, I rather see a more complete and entertaining piece of software on one console than have it on two or more platforms and each having their own flaws.

Was this thread made because so many devs who use to make exclusives for Sony are going multi-platform?
That's the way the industry is headed and it's better for the devs. Just deal with it.

That's true, but I think they'll have to learn how to go for the third alternative - making a complete and entertaining piece of software on several platforms.
The days where it was easy to make a profit on exclusives are gone, the userbases of each console aren't big enough and the development budgets are too big. There are very few exceptions and most of them involve moneyhatting from the console makers, which is artificial profit for the publishers...
