Some of you are being WAAAYYY to optimistic. Many of you predicted 10+ games to be rated in the 90s this holiday. That's not going to happen. Only a handful of games are rated in the 90s in the same time period. Usually when one game is critically aclaimed, the games released after that will be met with high expectations.

Even if all the games released this holiday have the quality of a 90+ game, they won't all be rated in the 90s. To be rated in 90s, a game has to be head-and-shoulders over it's competitors. Every game can't be head-and-shoulders over their competitors, because then there wouldn't be a body.
