not doing too well.

 

Looks like this franchise will max out at 2-2.5 million.

 

Still an improvement over the Sly Cooper series from last generation, so Sucker Punch must still be happy.

Seems liek Sony has alot of 2 million selling exclusives, and few that go beyond that

I think it will go to 3 mill. I dont think there are any really good ps3 or other games coming out till around september (I could be wrong) so it will have reasonably good sales for a while. I already know people back home(NZ) who havent bought this yet cos they are playing infamous.

I don't think giving InFamous 1 away hurts sales.

Who are the people that bought InFamous 2? These are people who already played InFamous 1.

Who are the people downloading Infamous 1 on PSN? Those are the people who never played InFamous before. These ppl are not going to buy InFamous 2 anyways.

So in conclusion, free Infamous actually benefits sales of Infamous 2 in the long run (give time for ppl to finish the first game)
