Forums - Sony - CD Projekt 'would love' to bring The Witcher 2 to PS3

Developer CD Projekt Red told Eurogamer it would "love" to make a PS3 version after it's finished creating the Xbox 360 version, due out later this year.

But

"The size of the studio and the approach we have for the projects," Gop explained. "We do not like to engage 50/50. With everything we go with full speed, always.

"The other thing is switching from PC to Xbox 360 was quite straightforward. We already have people that have done 360 games on board.

"Right now we're on the look out for a good PS3 developer, so it might happen."

Seems logical to me.

The PC version of Witcher 2 is great and so obviously made for console porting, so I hope it will be available on PS3.

Great news for PS3 users.
It was this, and not Halo 4, (IMO and it what regards to my personal tastes), the biggest console exclusive Microsoft held against Sony on this E3.

I was rather annoyed to hear it wouldn't be coming to PS3 when originally the FIRST game was suppose to be MP. I can understand that they are a smaller studio and have to put PS3 version on hold till they are done with other versions but the fact its not coming to PS3 alongside the other platforms is still frustrating.

Well it makes sense, I will still play it on PC though as I have already bought it and you can import you save from the first one. But this is good for PS3 owners

ugh, so annoying hearing that their future might be stuck making port after port

really depressing for a pc fan to hear this and realize that witcher 3 is getting pushed back furhter and further to make a port

This is great news. I will definitely buy this game when it comes to the PS3.



Playstation All-Stars is one of the best games I've played this gen, and is the most fun I've had in a game this gen.

I kind of agree with you.  The first was brilliant on PC,  and when I heard about the changes made to the second It sounded like Dragon Age all over again.  And sure enough,  its now getting ported to the consoles.  

I cant wait to start the second one on PC, but it sounds like the 3rd may be 3 or 4 years away from happening
