Nice image, but where would Skyward Sword go? The first Wii U game?

Hell no! They should release it on Wii.

Another thing is launching it on both consoles as they did with Twilight Princess.

Then the Wii wouldn't have its own Zelda... making it Wii U's first :P

¡Qué cruel eres!

You all shouldn't get your hopes up too much . They say the art style in that tech demo was just to show off the wii u. The Wii U zelda would only use that if t fits the gameplay

(killeryoshis note - Who put that there ?)
Switch is 9th generation. Everyone else is playing on last gen systems! UPDATE: This is no longer true. 2nd UPDATE: I have no Switch 2. I am now behind

I think it fits perfectly with other past Zeldas, Twilight Princess for example.

Ah, I was hoping somebody would make these comparisons.

I can't wait to see where Nintendo goes with the Wii U and Zelda. I'm honestly hoping for an artstyle similar to Marjoa's Mask. It's object rendering has a more realistic and physically 3D look, like Twilight Princess, but it has a much wider color spectrum, from the grays and browns of Ikana Town to the bright greens and purples of the surface of the Moon.

Just Google Image Searching Majora's Mask says it all:

http://www.google.com/search?q=majora%27s+mask&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wi&biw=1920&bih=956

You're bombarded with color.

Though I'd also love if they went with a style similar to the Last Guardian:

A nicely stylized take on reality. Though I suppose the two styles could go hand in hand. Even the Last Guardian makes use of color in interesting ways:

Imagine if that were the look of just one dungeon in Zelda WU, like the Stone Temple in Majora's Mask.

And if the Wii U is decently more powerful than the PS3, than the Zelda team should be able to blow away those Last Guardian shots.

1) what was the inferior Zelda game to hit the N64 before Ocarina?

2) How dare you slander Windwaker!!! :(

Edit: Apparently I tagged majora's, insead of Ocarina? Weird

That looks like a Wii version screenshot of TP.

Which are graphically the exact same with the exception that it runs in widescreen on Wii.

The rEVOLution is not being televised

Well it may be better but maybe it won't, looking at past events is not the best way to make a forecast imo. There are other things to consider, in these two past demos N64 and GC, Nintendo had a leading hardware tecnology this means it was new to industry, so developers didn't know exactly what they could do with it. Also since those demos, at the time, were already looking better than anything avaliable for purchase, they did't really need an hardware-pushing demo. In Wii U case, the industry is already accostumed with PC/360/Ps3 hardwares, so while it will take some time to get accostumed to the new architecture, developers may already know more or less what to expect from it. And in this case Nintendo has to show how good the console is looking from the beginning, since they already have similar competitors on the market.

While I think the Zelda HD demo looks phenomenal (!), I wouldn't mind having a game with a new original art-style either.
God, the possibilities are just endless !!

Until you've played it, every game is a system seller!

I know this is a bit off-topic, but I cannot possibly consider ya'll to be true Zelda fans if you say Windwaker > all.
