But OT: I'm thinking that perhaps people know for sure now that Wii in backwards compatible with Wii U, so maybe it's safer to buy the games to bring them over next gen ? It's gotta be something more then $50...

Good for you. I guess people thought they could buy an extra game besides the bundled game for Wii.
