None of them seem like huge sellers. The Collections are just easy quick money. Even if they dont reach 1 million I think they'll make good profit on them considering it probably doesnt take a huge dev team or long time to make those HD. StarHawk has good sales potential due to its heavy online component. WarHawk has a loyal online fanbase so it'll get to atleast 1 million. |
God of War ORIGINS Collection -0.8 million Shadow of the Colossus/Ico Collection - 0.5 million Sly 4 - 0.5 million StarHawk -0.7 million Dust 514 -0.3 million Medievil MOVES - 0.1 million Silent Hill Collection - 0.25 million
God of War ORIGINS Collection ~ 1.25 million
Team Ico Collection ~ 1.25 million
Sly 4 ~ .75 million
StarHawk ~ 1.25 million
Dust 514 ~ .5 million
Medievil MOVES ~ .4 million
Silent Hill Collection ~ .5 million
GoW Origins: 1m
Ico Collection: 750k
Sly 4: 800k
Starhawk: 1m
Dust 514: 1.5m
Medievil Moves: 500k
Silent Hill Collection: 750k
God of War ORIGINS Collection - 1.50 Million - Will sell pretty well. Not as good as the PS2 collection, but should still make good profit.
Shadow of the Colossus/Ico Collection - 1.00 million. - Will sell most to the hardcore and those who are interested in The Last Guardian. Could probably be higher depending on the impact that The Last Guardian has on people. I believe it is more interested this gen than lest gen. Most people want these games but can't find them. Should make good profit.
Sly 4 - 1.00 million - Never been a very high selling franchise. Should make good profit.
StarHawk - 2.50 million - This game has potential. The first sold 1 million to retail. I don't know what it sold through downloads. I'll estimate it sold 1.7m all together. That's pretty good considering the game got NO exposure. It literally sold everything on word-of-mouth. The team at Lightbox have had five years with this title. I expect it to be much better than Warhawk. They've improved the shooting, improved the graphics, added some RTS elements, kept online-splitscreen, etc. These are all improvements to game which was one of the greatest multiplayer experiences out there. It will no doubt get more exposure than warhawk got. I really feel like it might sell into the 3 -4 milllion range, but I'll be conservative.
Dust 514 - 1.0 million - Never heard of it. If it was good, then I would have heard of it. I'm being generous by giving it a million.
Medievil MOVES - 500k - Again, I'm being generous
Silent Hill Collection - 500k - I have no idea.
God of War ORIGINS Collection -2 million
Shadow of the Colossus/Ico Collection - 1.2 million
Sly 4 - 1 million
StarHawk -2 million (legs and word of mouth)
Dust 514 -500,000 - 5m
Medievil MOVES - couldn't tell ya?
Silent Hill Collection - 1-2m
God of War Origins collection and Ico collection will probably both be under 1 million. God of War might barely make it over.
Sly 4 is probably anywhere between 1 -2 million. Really depends how it is marketed and what reviews look like. Sly's been gone for a long time so we'll see what kind of software the franchise can still move.
Starhawk could possibly do 3 million but I don't think it will. Probably somewhere around 2.
Dust is gonna flop, it looks pretty awful and I just don't see it having much demand for a game like that console.
So really none of the new game announcements will be big software juggernauts but I'm certainly excited for some of them.
