Just finished Persona 4 Golden - probably the best game i have ever played and i played a lot of games so far.

Welcome to the forums. And yes P4G is indeed the best game on the handheld (and one of, if not, the best of all time) and was a definite system seller for me.

Have you guys checked the Limited Edition for World Of FF. I don't know if it'll cost 59.99€ or just the regular 39.99€ just as showcased by the retailers.

I have never seen such perfect characters in a game, everyone is adorable..specially Naoto Kun/Chan :3 Too bad Persona 5 isnt coming for the Vita...

I think if limited run started doing the same, that would be the end of their venture. As someone on reddit noted:

Limited Run Games make a point of saying they'll never do reprints though.  That RCR PR you showed me doesn't say anything about that.  I know it's not desirable, but it was limited to 2000 copies at the time they printed those copies.

We'll just have to agree to disagree on this one.  I collect because I like having physical copies, not because I want to resell my games when I'm older or because of the allure of it being a limited run.  I know I'm in the minority on that one though because most of the people I talk to on GAF collect like you do and I'm sure would be outraged with this decision too :P

I'm collecting for a full set not for resale. However the very fact they are limited means I'm buying them rather than other games I want more due to the difficulty obtaining them. So that's why the idea of reprints annoys me. Like I say any regular game, reprint im all for. It's just one sold as limited edition.

As for them not saying, yes they did lol. Read their listings. "Limited edition"

This limited edition retail version of Retro City Rampage™ DX is the rarest PlayStation®4 game ever printed! Only 2,000 available, so pre-order yours before it's too late.

I don't see how you can interpret that any other way than one they're gone you'll never get it.

Other games like that History: legends of war I've no problem with the idea of a reprint. It was never propositioned as a one off run or the only chance to get it.

Anyway only the ps4 ver atm so doesn't bother me. And RCR I can live with as I didn't have to pay a small fortune to get it in the first place thankfully.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

New Touhou game released today in Japan (looks decent, already out in the west on Steam):

Also looks like that Compile Heart teaser is for a Nep game:

Update 7/21/16: The countdown has updated with a silhouette of Neptune from the Neptunia series.

*shrug*.  They printed 2,000 and it was the rarest PS4 game.  Then they printed more.  At the time it was, now it's not.

LIke I say, non-issue for me.  I can understand what you're saying, but it's not a viewpoint I think I'll ever really 'get' :P

Final post on Ys.VIII Game looks gorgeous on OLED, by far best looking Ys game (that's not saying much but still ^^)

What Ys title is the best to beginn with when you havent played one before? Is Memories of Celceta a good pick?

Nice, I'll also be preordering that one as well on amazon. Never played the original, so this one with the 1st game and all the goodies is a no brainer for me!

Normally, I'm not a fan of a digital title when there is a physical copy to choose from.  But I'll make an exception for now.  And maybe I'll but the physical version one day if I like the game enough.

For me, it kind of depends, but I usually wait for a sale on the ps store, since I have so many games to play already.

Ys games have 2 types of gameplay/artstyle. Older Ys games had you play the entire game as adol only and didn't have a lot of hand holding and had some decent platforming (Top view camera skewed at an angle). Newer games like  Seven/Celceta have a 3 characters party system (view like previous screenshot). Honestly, I like both but I know lots of fans prefer the old style.

Anyways, I find all Ys games fun lol, so yeah both Seven and Celceta are good choices (modern gameplay party system) . Also, if you want to try out the older gameplay when adol was alone and could jump check out Ys : Oath of Felghana. for me, I'd say Oath is the most enjoyable. don't worry about stories the games are pretty much self contained.

Wait.... is Retro City Rampage DX THAT rare? I knew it was limited but not that limited. I must have gotten my copy by luck because I swear I just happened to see a thread about it and followed the link to buy it. Must have just been online at the right time or something.

Anyways I kinda share the same, admittedly selfish, opinion as MikeRox. I like knowing that some of my games are hard to get and rare. It's what makes collecting fun. I missed out on Breach and Clear and as much as I would like to buy a copy for the original price I know that I have no one to blame but myself for not getting it.

Either way I shouldn't care since it really doesn't effect me so if they do reprint some of the Vita version hopefully those of you who want it can get it this time.
