my updated ps vita collection and 3 more games on the way in the next 3 weeks :D

It is an impressive collection.  But I must ask you, aren't you better off buying titles such as Trials of Cold Steel, Steins Gate & DOA on a home console instead?

Depends. There's no difference in Steins;Gate, so I'd scratch that off the list.

For DOA and Cold Steel, the Vita versions are fine. They don't look as good as the console versions, but provide similar experiences (while also being cheaper). I bought Cold Steel and Steins;Gate on Vita, and got DOA on PS4 though.

I do love my VITA, and I love my PSTV even more which shows my bias here.  Personally, I prefer playing on a large screen over a handheld while I know that some prefer that portable option.  So I'm just expressing a personal opinion.  And honestly, sometimes I feel inclined to buy the VITA version of a game just out of support.  And if it were more financially practical, I'd buy the home console version out of preference and the portable version out of support.  Again, just my preference.

I'd much rather play something like Cold Steel on a handheld (as I am at the moment).  It's nice to get engrossed in a deep RPG, but sometimes you do need to put it down and go and play something else, which a handheld is better for (suspend/resume).

Aside from that, I kinda feel Cold Steel was designed around handheld play.  Chapters; missions; pseudo-social links; mini-games etc.  It's all stuff that can be done in bite-sized chunks if need be.

Yeah you got the soundtrack to!!!

Nice collection. We've got pretty similar ones I think. Though I don't half envy that P4:DAN LE. Think I'm going to have to get that and corpse party from Rice Digital if I ever have the spare money. Limited Run are doing a good job of diverting my surplus gaming budget all to themselves atm :/

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

The portability is a big pull for me at least. It's also a niche platform, so on a collectability front, it makes far more sense to buy the Vita version of a game over the ps4.

Man that is painful! I'm collecting EU releases :( only US and Asian titles I'll be buying are ones not released in Europe. Thanks for the heads up though!

I'll have to update my collection this weekend. I actually have no idea how many games I have now. Think it's about 125 physical now.
