Does anyone else wonder if the N3DS is actually more to try and grab a few of the higher profile 3rd party Vita games from Japan? I can't actually think of any other real reason to want to release it yet. I wonder if stabilized sales with a significant YoY increase have Nintendo a bit on edge about their most important market.

Most japanese games don't make much use of the vita's power anyway. If they wanted to go multi-platform, they would have already.

Your September dose of no gaemz!

Vita still on track for best lineup of 2014.

I'm fine with Sony not showing any first-party games for Vita at TGS.

To be honest, their handheld output from Japanese studios hasn't thrilled me anyway. Gravity Rush was ace and I'm looking forward to Oreshika, but otherwise we've just had two monster hunting games which is a genre I just don't care for; and a few F2P bits and pieces.

Decent stuff for getting the Japanese market excited; not great for getting Kresnik excited.

Besides, the only first-party game Sony announced at TGS last year was Soul Sacrifice Delta. Everything else we already knew about. The two biggest Vita announcements (Phantasy Star Nova & DanganRonpa: Another Episode) came from third parties.

And I'm expecting third parties will announce some stuff for Vita this year, too. Which is better; because third parties (especially Japanese third parties) are taking up about 90% of my gaming time on Vita at the moment.

That's why I wonder if N3DS was aimed at trying to plug that. But yeah, Japanese 3rd parties are really starting to embrace the Vita and for the most part, that's fine with me as I don't really bother with too much Western stuff and I've got the PS4 for that I guess.

Hey, haven't posted in a while. How's everyone doing?
also anyone have an idea how difficult it is in SAO:HF to transition to another weapon?

Squeezol's Fanclub Member? is that how it works?

Why can't I hold all these no gaemz?

Always looking to improve my awful drawings ;_;

Anyway, despite all the negativity, here's a few (somewhat) realistic announcements that I totally want to hear at TGS. I don't think many of them will actually happen for various reasons (Acquire seem to have been sucked in mobile gaming by GungHo; Sony are using Oreshika as a gauge so any other JRPG's would be too soon etc.) but you never know!

- Way of the Samurai 5. Yeah, I'm really enjoying Shinobido at the moment and want another janky Acquire game for my Vita.

- Chronos Materia. What the hell happened to this game? It's time it came back. Atelier + time travel + Vita exclusive = I want it.

- DanganRonpa 3. Hey, this one might actually happen!

- Boku no Natsuyasumi 5. I know it's never going to come to the west, but it looks like such a lovely series and I want to play it in English.

- A revived Sony JRPG. I know all the chatter is for PS4. But maybe revive something small and forgotten for Vita! Arc the Lad. Legend of Legaia. Or my dream: Wild ARMs!

I'm fulling expecting 0-1 of these things to actually happen (DanganRonpa being the one) but hey...

Could Sony be crazy enough to say they won't focus Vita at TGS then just drop Vita bombs like madmen? My gut is telling me to wait and see....

What is the order of the Atelier games on Vita?

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.
