Thanks guys! Im going to finish up Disgaea 4 first but ill check DanganRonpa out afterwards :)

dont forget tales of hearts R in november. i'd also recommend atelier games but they are an aquired taste and it usually takes a second playthrough to squeeze out the main story.

I was thinking about getting Tales when it comes out, but im disappointed its only going to be sub.   Isnt it a remake?  If so how is the game because ive looked up info on the game and havent found much on it

Looking for a good Story driven game on the vita. Preferebly JRPG, doesnt matter if its turn based or action. Any recommendations?  Already played Persona 4

Like many people have said DanganRonpa is the way do go if you want a story driven game. However if you don't mind a game that's slightly less focused on story and more focused on gameplay then you really should check out Ys: Memories of Celceta.

PSN: extremeM

PlayStation Vita Japanese Software Sales (Media Create Physical/ Famitsu Digital)

I really wish this console got more support like the psp. It deserves it and more. I no longer own one because I let my nephew play and apparently he thought it was water proof ;-;

Ltd predictions by the time 9th Gen comes out

Ps4:110million

Xbox one :75 million( was 65)

Wii u: 20 milliion

Ive played Ys: MoC.  Its not really my thing honestly.  Played it for like 2 hours and stopped.  If im being completely honest i dont even really care for JRPG games that much.  I just like the story in some of them

I'm gonna have to go against the tide and recommend zero escape for a great story. I really like Dangan ronpa, but the story of zero escape had much more impact for me. Off course, if solving puzzles is not your thing then Dangan ronpa might be the better choice.

As for Tales of Hearts R, yes it is a remake. The orginal used a 2D battle field like this:

and the remake uses the modern 3D action battle arena

It has a save the world plotline with some romance, but it's nothing amazing as a story. I did enjoy it though.

Looks so much better on vita xD  Ill def be getting Tales.  Still wish they would have dubbed it though.

Zero Escape vs DanganRonpa.  I see Zero Escape has higher reviews.  What is the difference in gameplay?  DanganRonpa looks like a detective type story.  I dont really mind puzzles but i dont know anything about either game.

I have to agree Kinisking as well.  I  really do wish the Vita got more support.  Persona 5 and Tales of Xillia for example i would have loved to have had for the vita.  I keep hoping it will take off though :)

Dangan ronpa uses gathering evidence and logic to solve "stuff", so its gameplay at its simplest is choosing the proper clue and the proper statement to find out the truth. Off course it gets more advanced as you go along. There is also a social aspect in the game and that's why people say the game is a mix of "Ace Attorney X Persona"

Zero escape uses puzzles in the traditional sense to progress through areas like this for example. There is also a Braclet points system in which wiki explains it better than me lol

From Wiki:

"At various points in the game, the player will be asked to make multiple choice decisions which affect the course of the game, such as which puzzles the player faces and the fates of other characters. The most recurring aspect of this is the Ambidex Game, a prisoner's dilemma in which characters have to choose whether to 'ally' or 'betray' the character or team they were paired up against. The choices the characters make affect their Bracelet Points (BP); two teams who both choose 'ally' gain two points, two teams who both choose 'betray' neither earn or lose any points, and someone who chooses 'betray' when the other chooses 'ally' gains three points whilst the innocent one loses two points. Characters who gain nine points are able to escape whilst those who run out of BP are put to death. The game features 24 different endings based on the player's decisions. A Flow system lets players revisit any previously completed section, allowing them to choose a different route or reattempt a puzzle for a better score"

Sony To Host A Press Conference For PlayStation On September 1st

I wonder why they are setting up a conference before TGS ?

It's probably because a president is leaving his charge.

It's got to do with shareholders, not games.
