I wouldn't expect much extra content.  The Atelier games were port + DLC + occassionally balances (such as increased damage on certain attacks).

iirc Totori might've had an extra dungeon, but it was ripped straight out of Rorona so that's not exactly new content.

I wonder what level of stuff NIS are going to commit to Vita.

Still just porting their home console stuff?  Cheap "indie" games like Hotaru no Nikki? 

Or are they finally going to try a new IP on the platform?

A couple weeks back, there was an article from NIS stating that they plan on improving their 2D technology(even making an asian Branch or something...) and release more small titles like Hotaru no Nikki.

My guess would be another 2D indie title.

NIS can't really do indie games but do things in that style.
