Dont really understand where the hate is coming from, im pretty sure that 90% of Vita owners are at some point going to have a PS4... So why cant we just enjoy the fact that the game is finally coming over:/

I'm happy that it's coming over, but I'm also a bit sad that it's not on Vita. Remote play for Vita is decent at best and absolute shit at worst.

Hate is coming from the fact that people bought a console not a wannabe WiiU controller or a nVidia Shield.

Be serious, look a others Handheld to home console ports... You really thin it will look better on a PS4? Anyway jRPGs on the go ARE THE BEST!... It should be a exclusive genre for handhelds... like hunting games...

You have to understand something, it's not just the fact that it's coming over on the wrong system. and yes most of us will get a ps4 and most likely end up getting the game. But we do feel like we were trolled, if you take into consideration that this game is most likely getting localized because of all the requests made by Vita fans and owners. We did the begging, we got their attention and they just decided to troll us in that ridiculous, clueless Square Enix way we are so familiar with.

They are THE WORSE when it comes to listening to their fanbase. So oblivious...

I don't think the hate would be nearly so bad if they hadn't accidentally announced it for Vita.

The thing that really must have made Vita owners angry is the fact that the first announcement was talking about the Vita as the platform chosen, with Shahid and others fueling it all with "megaton" tweets and such... All this at the end of an E3 completely void of significative annoucements or news... and the exact day after the fan translation patch was released for PSP...
This created the perfect storm!

If all this had been made simply stating that Type-0 was coming to last gen consoles during an E3 with also some beefy software presented for Vita and the fan patch still in the early stages, the situation would have been very different...

Because SE only needed to localize the game for the Vita, it was Vita compatible PSP game. So not putting the game at least as a digital only game was mind boggling. Also, my speculation is Type-0's storyline may be connected to FFXV in some way. So it needed to go to the consoles.
