If it sold 42k FW like Vita TV did in Japan, then that would be like 5 months worth of sales for the handheld Vita.

Could PS TV be the game changer? The concept is solid. In the West it has a few uses.

Budget console for the kids bedroom. (hence the Disney Infinity stuff etc.)

Streaming PS4 to a second room without lugging it about. Also streaming internet services to a TV without a huge box or PC/Laptop.

Between those two, could they actually increase Vita software sales enough to get more software secured? (it would open up the few Vita exclusives there are to others)

Still massively disappointed that there was no second screen functionality stuff shown. What is that option for if the only thing you can do is remote play?

Well, I like last year am prety interested on vita TV (I'll call it like that for ever, Suck it SONY!) I'll buy a PS4 for arround september this year (I'm looking at that White PS4 with Destiny bundled) so I could stream from any other room and play with my little brother coop games in separated TV. A second screen functionality for Coop offline modes would be so cool... I think PS4 could handle that easily.

 

@kresnik: if vitaTv sell 40k or more would be like a festival on the west. in japan had a nice first week, but dropped fast and sunk to 2k weekly, well, that model aloe selll more than Vita on the US.. XD

We can hope. I will honestly buy a Vita port day 1. PS4 ver? Meh, 3DS owners tell me handheld games are for handheld consoles and the reason Vita bombs is it has no handheld consoles. So I find it interesting that suddenly PS4 ver is the way forward for this...
