This is such a simple yet neat cover

Looks pretty good, not my favourite choice of colours though.

What game is that?

Forgot the exact name but it's that recently announced horror game by Nippon Ichi.. at least that's what I think it is

I wish there was a Vita-native version of Tekken. Playing Tekken 2 through PS1 classics again is loads of fun; and the Tekken 6 port on PSP is surprisingly awesome. I want more :(

I think Tekken X Street Fighter was planned for Vita, but it hasn´t had any news in a long time.

western games from big publishers and on physical.. there isn't. Well, some millestone racing games, but until now.. NOTHINg of general knowledge. Vita is coming to it's third year and there's not NBA game, Soccer and American fooball games are clones of their first one on the handheld. There are some late ports from time on time, like Injustice and Borderlands 2 now...

SONY isn't even trying to get western devs to work on Vita anymore.. so if You or Your brother doesn't like Eastern games and indies, better get anything else.

If he wanted a handheld though, the only system with a lot of western games would be the vita though.  The fact of the matter is that the 3ds isn't going to come close to what the vita offers as far as sports, FPS, TPS, or western action adventure games go.   And if they want those experiences on a handheld, the vita is the only way to go.

Yeah, but in handheld rigth now what sell is kids stuff and Pokemon and Monster hunter (Japan) and the eternal Mario.. all of them are exclusives of Nintendo 3DS. The only big Eastern franchise of SONY in the west is Gran Turismo and seems like they gave Poliphony Digital the rigth to decide in what platforms to work, like to Naughty Dog. And there's the fact that SONY western aren't working IN NOTHING for Vita, not even traditional portable studios, like Bend and Ready at Dawn... nor they are making new studios work on them.

I know of a lot of people who will buy GOW collection just to play it again, and a lot more of people who buy a Vita to play with kratos on portable. Is just that SONY haven't made the efforts to make the Vita a success... They just gave up the west.

Got my brother a borderlands 2 Vita bundle with 8 gig memory card.

I kind of regret it, but for him it's worth it for FFX HD alone.

Seriously, what is coming out for the system other than indies this year? I loves me some indies, but indies don't sell a system.

Japanese games.  And home console ports.

If he's in the market for something other than Japanese games; indies and home console ports, though, you probably shouldn't have invested in a handheld.

Surely if he's just got a Vita he's got the early western centric titles to work through as well?

I'd be quite happy with starting out on Uncharted, Unit 13 etc now. Not as if any other handheld devices have technically surpassed the launch titles so will still have that "next gen" feel as far as portable gaming goes. Just don't start with Killzone as it'd all be downhill from there.

"As a reminder for anyone who hasn't followed our updates recently, our plans for '90s Arcade Racer were to launch on PC (via Steam) and Wii U and follow-up with mobile. However, given the prevalence of Unity 3D on PlayStation 4, PS Vita and Xbox One, you can be sure we're trying to find a way to get the game on those platforms as well. However, we'd like to get the game out for backers on PC and players on Wii U first--you've been patiently waiting and we do want to give you the ride of your life."

:O !!! :D

Hell I'll pick up the PC versions too to support them. But Vita would be day 1 if they can keep the 60fps.
