EDF was literally the only other Japanese shooter series I could think of. I suppose Resi/MGS as well but I'd categorize them as horror/stealth first and shooter second.

Pleased as punch to see a Vita game on top of the worldwide charts :P Sword Art did well fw. (Obvs only from JP sales though)
