Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 to launch at retail and digital in North America, digital-only in Europe

http://gematsu.com/2014/05/hyperdimension-neptunia-rebirth-1-launch-retail-digital-north-america-digital-europe

Thankfully, I was afraid it had no physical in NA,would have pissed me off seeing PP gets a physical. I feel bad for anyone in EU that wanted physical tho.

If you are European, in cases like this I strongly recommend www.videogamesplus.ca They have good prices for NA releases, charge not much for delivery, and even ship it out of Belgium so you can avoid customs charges if you're in the EU. Vita games prices are usually $40 and shipping $7.50, but that's Canadian $, so a game with shipping comes to about €30...

I often use them, just got my Conception II the other day, and several Vita games in previous months. It usually takes about 2 weeks for the package to arrive. And you can even preorder and not get billed before it's shipped.

For all those NA retail releases that are not available in Europe, this seems to be the best choice and I always use them. Right now I have preordered Freedom Wars, Neptunia PP, XBlaze Code Embryo and Danganronpa 2.

I used to use them loads back when a US GameCube was my main format. (yeah I'm drawn to the losing system haha)

It's not so bad if a game only gets a US Physical as the system is region free (unlike the SMT4 debacle on 3DS due to region locking). It's easier to import than it ever has been. A fair few of these EU releases have also only had English language on the card making them no different to importing a US version for many Europeans.

DLC is the kicker though.  It's a shame it's region locked; and it's really thrown a spanner in the works for things like Muramasa/Conception 2 for me.  As in I really want the DLC for those titles, but I'm not sure whether I'm willing to give up a physical copy to be able to get it.

Maybe this one will be easier to find a copy of than the other rugby game :P

There's a fair few European pubs/devs making sports titles supporting Vita now.  Wonder how much good it's doing.

I finished Burning Skies. I thought it was pretty fun, but def not as good as KZM. The fireaxe was fun. I liked traversing GW Bridge too.

You say that, I noticed that Jonah Lomu Rugby is £29.99 new on Amazon atm. Not great I know, but far better than the £80 price tags I've seen.

I'm curious with this. I bought a "brand new" copy, but the shrink wrap it game in is a bit dubious making me think reseal, but then it's got an official rugby product sticker across the side where you open the case so I'm not sure. I'm actually tempted to buy another copy to see if it should have a regular tear strip shrink wrap >_<

I enjoyed it, much worse handheld/mobile FPS games have had much better critical acclaim tbh. I think the game really comes into it's own in the last level and it's such a shame they didn't get another 6 months to add another couple of levels of that calibre at the end. Would have turned it from a 6/10 game to an 8/10 game IMO.

Is really fun.. a shame they didn't have enough time to get better... :/ SONY really made the worst decision ever with that game and killed the Resistance serie... I would have loved a new resistance game for PSVita...

BTW here the compilation of all indies announced: http://blog.us.playstation.com/2014/05/01/roundup-12-new-indies-coming-to-playstation/ 12 in total, only two for Vita, seems like Skulls of the Shogun is not gonna make it for Vita yet... and the title of "Strwhal: Just the Tip" is very misleading XD

EDIT: HOLY CRAP! i just saw the Starwhal: Just the tip trailer.. and it looks like spermathozoids with a horn! on a space setting.. XD
