If Re;Birth doesn't get a physical release, but PP does, I'll be one sad guy, no joke. Either way I'm happy been dying to get into that series, good thing I didn't start at mk2 like I was going too.

I just realised that Neptunia Rebirth got announced with a vague "distribution yet to be determined" statement days after Baldr was asking whether we wanted physical or digital games.

AM I ON THE RIGHT TRACK BALDR!?

WOW! What a great deduction!

Well... PP is gonna get localized by NISA rigth? This ensure a  physical release.. but... Re;Birth1 is from ideFactory directly.. so... is still  doubtful.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re; Birth 1 finally confirmed for this summer.

What are the new stuff included? I'm not far on the PS3 version, is it worth re-buying?

- Battle System removed and replaced with the Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory Battle System, likely with adjustments tho.
- I know DLC is included, but I'm not sure how much if not all, what it says from what I seen, a raised Lvl cap, More playable characters, More enemies, dugeons, Quests.
- Something about customization
- Some in game blank discs for something (you might know since you've played the original)
- The Story is still the same and in tact, but character interaction/conversations are redone, so some convos are different
- New game ending

Yeah, I understand the reasoning, but it surely would be crappy to have the main series title Digital only and the spin off get physical. I'm a pray lol

The gematsu article in the link goes through the differences, but I guess the main difference is the battle system. The remake uses Neptunia Victory battle system. Also there is a new ending for the vita version apparently.

es from the PlayStation 3 version

  • An overhauled battle system! Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 takes the original game and equips it with the battle system of Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory! This gives the player a more in-depth gaming experience!
  • New scenario, new ending! The main story and event scenes are renewed from the PlayStation3 version. The core storyline will remain mostly the same, but the conversations between characters are all new! A new ending has been added as well! This will allow players returning from the PlayStation3 version to enjoy the game anew!
  • New “Remake System”! A new system has been added to Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1: the “Remake System”! It lets players customize and make changes to the game system itself by obtaining “Plans”!
  • Receive Blank Discs to craft your own Game Discs! You can create unique equippable items by burning Idea Chips (abilities) onto Blank Discs! Depending on the Idea Chips used, a Godly Game may result, which will grant you an additional ability!
  • DLC brings more playable characters and more! Additional characters will be playable through DLC; players can increase the level cap to 999; and additional monsters, quests, and dungeons will be available

Now the question is, should I double dip?

"We'll toss the dice however they fall,
And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

Shit my ambitions of full EU physical Vita set are getting more expensive by the day! I though this system was dying!?

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

Is Rainbow Moon worth getting? Also, what's the size of it, I can't seem to find it on the Store and the demo is 1.5 GB, I'm assuming is bigger than that.

I also bought Ni No Kuni yesterday, I'm about 4 hours into it and I'm really sad is not on the Vita as well...

Last thing, I have never played a Final Fantasy game except for a Tactics game on the GBA, is the HD collection a good buy, I'm not familiar with the series.

I don't mind, it is also my friend's favorite game of all time and he won't stop talking about it but I need a bit more of a push in order to buy it. He was about to cry when I told him it was going to be remastared in HD a few months ago.
